How do babies do yoga?
Baby yoga is not something you do to your baby, it is something you do ‘with’ your baby. Just as yoga stimulates and stretches your body, relaxes your mind and brings a sense of harmony, so too will it bring all these benefits to your baby.
Our classes involve posture work (asana practice), breath awareness, pranayama, visulization and meditation to enhance well being. We also incorporate baby massage and chanting.
Our aim is to create a class where all needs are met, in return mum and baby have had a wonderful experience.
Practicing Yoga with your baby is the ideal way to bond with your child and has many benefits. It tunes your body in an effective, but gentle way, it is a wonderful way to have fun with your baby. It helps you with anxiety, stress of motherhood and helps with tiredness.
